Therefore, the magnitude of vibration can be measured by using a special bearing vibration measuring instrument (frequency analyzer, etc.), and the specific situation of abnormality can not be inferred by frequency analysis. The measured values are different due to the service conditions of bearings or the installation position of sensors, so it is necessary to analyze and compare the measured values of each machine in advance to determine the judgment standard.

2.the temperature of the bearing

Generally, the temperature of the bearing can be inferred from the temperature outside the bearing chamber, and it is more appropriate to directly measure the temperature of the bearing outer ring by using the oil hole.

Usually, the temperature of the bearing rises slowly with the start of bearing operation, and reaches a stable state after 1-2 hours. The normal temperature of the bearing varies with the heat capacity, heat dissipation, speed and load of the machine. If the lubrication and installation parts are suitable, the bearing temperature will rise sharply and there will be abnormal high temperature. At this time, the operation must be stopped and necessary preventive measures must be taken.

Using thermal sensor can monitor the working temperature of bearing at any time, and realize automatic alarm or stop to prevent shaft burning accident when the temperature exceeds the specified value.

High temperature often indicates that the bearing is in an abnormal condition. High temperature is also harmful to bearing lubricant. Sometimes bearing overheating can be attributed to bearing lubricant. If the bearing is connected for a long time at a temperature exceeding 125℃, the bearing life will be reduced. Causes of high temperature bearings include: insufficient or excessive lubrication, lubricant. It contains impurities, excessive load, bearing ring damage, insufficient clearance, and high friction caused by oil seal, etc.

Therefore, it is necessary to continuously monitor the bearing temperature, whether it is measuring the bearing itself or other important parts. If the operating conditions are unchanged, any temperature change can indicate that a fault has occurred.

The bearing temperature can be measured regularly by means of a thermometer, such as skf digital thermometer, which can accurately measure the bearing temperature and display it in units of℃ or Fahrenheit.

The important bearing means that when it is damaged, it will cause the equipment to stop, so it is best to install a temperature detector for this kind of bearing.

Under normal circumstances, the bearing will have a natural temperature rise after being lubricated or re-lubricated for one or two days.
