Installation of rolling bearing-heating installation method
When the inner diameter of the bearing is greater than 70mm, or the fit interference is large, the bearing hole is expanded by heating, which saves labor and time in installation and avoids damage caused by excessive force.
At this time, what needs to be controlled is the heating temperature. Generally, it is enough to heat the bearing to 80℃, up to 100℃. If the temperature exceeds 120℃, the bearing will be tempered, which will reduce the hardness and accuracy of the ring. Commonly used heating methods are:
Put the bearing on an electric heating plate with a temperature of 100℃ for a few minutes. This method is the simplest. If the bearing is turned over several times, it can be heated evenly and the efficiency is high. This method can be used for both large and small bearings.
2 electric furnace heating method
The bearing is heated in a closed automatic temperature control electric furnace, which has the advantages of uniform heating, accurate temperature control and fast heating, and is suitable for heating many bearings in a batch.
3 induction heating method
The induction heater can quickly, reliably and cleanly heat the bearing to the required temperature, which is especially suitable for the occasion where the inner ring is tightly matched. Because only the inner ring is heated and the outer ring is rarely heated, it can be easily installed on the shaft and into the seat hole.
4 light bulb heating method
Using a 50W light bulb to heat the bearing can ensure that the heating temperature is about 100℃. The smaller bearing can be directly placed on the light bulb, and the larger bearing can be placed in the conical cover of the light bulb. The conical cover can prevent the heat loss of the light bulb and make the heating uniform. The conical cover can be adjusted up and down, and can adapt to heating bearings of different sizes within a certain range. If far-infrared bulbs are used, pay attention to the direction of the bulbs, so as to avoid infrared rays from harming people's eyes. This light bulb can save energy. The bulb heating method is suitable for small quantity but not often needed; When the bearing is to be heated, the bulb can also be used for lighting at ordinary times, and no other equipment is needed.
5 oil tank heating method
This is a widely used traditional heating method. The oil tank is 50~70mm away from the bottom, and the bearing is placed on the net. The big bearing should be lifted with a hook. Bearings should not be placed directly at the bottom of the groove to prevent local overheating of the bearing parts touching the bottom of the groove or dirt deposited at the bottom of the groove from entering the bearing. The main points for attention in oil tank heating method are as follows: non-corrosive mineral oil with good thermal stability should be used, preferably transformer oil, and the oil and container should be kept clean. The capacity of the oil tank should depend on the size and oil quantity of the bearing to be heated. If the container is too small, the oil temperature will drop quickly when it is put into the bearing during continuous operation, and the effect is not good.
Key points of heating installation method
① The heating temperature should be properly controlled. If the temperature is too high, the bearing will be damaged. If the temperature is too low, the expansion of the ring will be insufficient, and the effect will not be significant. The thermal expansion of the inner diameter of the inner ring obtained at the heating temperature of 80~100℃ is enough for bearings with general interference.
(2) as soon as the required heating temperature is reached, it is necessary to install it as soon as possible to avoid cooling and installation difficulties.
③ The bearing also shrinks in the width direction when it is cooled, so when it is installed, a certain pressure should be applied to press the inner ring to the shoulder, and after cooling, an extremely thin feeler gauge should be used to test whether there is a gap between the end face of the inner ring and the shaft shoulder. In short, the action requires proficiency, quickness and accuracy.
