Use and storage of bearings
Precautions for use
Compared with general mechanical parts, the precision of rolling bearing is higher, so it should be used with caution accordingly.
1) Keep the bearing and its surroundings clean.
2) when using carefully.
If the bearing is severely impacted by carelessness during use, it will cause scars, indentations, fractures and other injuries to the bearing.
3) Use the right tools
4) Pay attention to the rust prevention of bearings.
Avoid using in damp places, and wear gloves to avoid sweat.
5) Users should be familiar with bearings.
6) Work out the operation specifications for bearing use.

Bearing storage
Bearings are coated with proper amount of antirust oil and packed with antirust paper when they leave the factory. As long as the packaging is not damaged, the quality of bearings will be guaranteed.
However, when it is stored for a long time, it should be stored on a shelf 30cm above the ground at a temperature below 65% and about 20 degrees Celsius. In addition, {TodayHot} storage places should avoid direct sunlight or contact with cold walls.
Bearing installation
Precautions before installation
1) Preparation of bearing
As the bearing is rustproof and packaged, do not open the package until it is installed in Lin 'an.
In addition, the anti-rust oil coated on the bearing has good lubrication performance, and it can be used directly without cleaning for general-purpose bearings or bearings filled with grease. However, for the bearings used for instruments or for high-speed rotation, the antirust oil should be washed away with clean cleaning oil. At this time, the bearings are prone to rust and cannot be placed for a long time.
2) Inspection of shaft and shell
Clean the bearing and shell, and make sure there are no scars or burrs left by machining. There must be no abrasive (SiC, Al2O3, etc.) molding sand, chips, etc. in the shell.
Secondly, check whether the size, shape and machining quality of the shaft and the shell conform to the drawings.
Before installing the bearing, apply mechanical oil to the mating surfaces of the shaft and the housing that have passed the inspection.
Installation method of bearing
The installation method of bearing is different due to bearing type and matching conditions.
Generally, the shaft rotates, so the inner ring and the outer ring can adopt interference fit and clearance fit respectively, and when the outer ring rotates, the outer ring adopts interference fit.
(1) Press-fit installation
Press-in installation generally uses a press, bolts and nuts, and hand hammers when necessary.
(2) Hot sleeve installation
The hot sleeve method of heating the bearing in oil to expand it and then installing it on the shaft can prevent the bearing from being subjected to unnecessary external force and complete the installation operation in a short time.
Precautions for heating:
1) Generally, heating should not exceed 100 degrees Celsius.
2) Bearings are not allowed to touch the bottom of the oil tank.
In addition, the bearing can be heated by induction heating device to expand and then installed on the shaft.
Removal of bearing
When checking or replacing parts regularly, it is necessary to remove the bearing. Usually, almost all shafts and bearing boxes will continue to be used, and bearings will often continue to be used. Therefore, the structural design should consider that {HotTag} will not damage the bearing, shaft, bearing box and other parts when disassembling the bearing, and at the same time, appropriate disassembly tools should be prepared. When disassembling the static fit ferrule, only the pulling force can be applied to the ferrule, and the ferrule cannot be pulled by the roller.
Maintenance of bearings
In order to give full play to the bearing and keep its proper performance for a long time, it is necessary to do regular maintenance (regular inspection).
Through proper regular inspection, it is very important to find faults early and prevent accidents before they happen, which is very important to improve productivity and economy.
1. Cleaning
When removing the bearing for inspection, make a good appearance record by photography and other methods. In addition, it is necessary to confirm the amount of remaining lubricant and sample the lubricant before cleaning the bearing.
A, bearing cleaning is divided into rough washing and fine washing, and metal grid can be placed at the bottom of the container used.
B, rough washing, use a brush in the oil to remove grease or adhesive. At this time, if you rotate the bearing in oil, be careful that the rolling surface will be damaged by foreign objects.
C, fine washing, slowly turn the bearing in the oil, must be carefully.
Usually used cleaning agent is neutral non-aqueous diesel oil or kerosene, and sometimes warm lye is used as required. No matter what kind of cleaning agent you use, you should always filter it to keep it clean.
Immediately after cleaning, apply antirust oil or antirust grease to the bearing.
2, inspection and judgment
In order to judge whether the removed bearing can be reused, it is important to check its dimensional accuracy, rotational accuracy, internal clearance, mating surface, raceway surface, cage and sealing ring.
The inspection results can be judged by those who are used to bearings or proficient in bearings.
The criterion of judgment varies according to the mechanical properties, importance and inspection period. In case of the following damage, the bearing shall not be reused and must be replaced.
1) Fracture and defect of bearing parts.
2) Stripping of the rolling surface of the raceway surface.
Fault identification method of bearing
It is very important to identify or predict the failure of bearings in operation without disassembly inspection, which is very important to improve productivity and economy.
The main identification methods are as follows:
1) Identify by sound.
Recognition by sound requires rich experience. Must be fully trained to be able to distinguish between bearing sound and non-bearing sound. To this end, we should try our best to carry out this work by special personnel. The sound of the bearing can be clearly heard by sticking a listening device or a listening stick on the housing.
2) Identification by working temperature.
This method is a comparative identification method, which is only used in situations where the operating state is not changing much. Therefore, it is necessary to record the temperature continuously. When a fault occurs, not only the temperature rises, but also irregular changes will occur.
3) Identify by the state of lubricant.
Sample and analyze the lubricant, and judge whether it is contaminated with foreign matter or metal powder. This method is especially effective for bearings or large bearings that cannot be observed close.
