Bearing storage


Bearing storage should first fully consider the size and weight of the bearing, and then consider the necessary handling space and equipment to ensure that the bearing will not collide when stored and taken. The bearing should not be placed directly on the ground. Therefore, appropriate shelves should be configured, and the bottom of the shelf should be 30cm above the ground.

Under the general packaging condition,the antirust effect is 13 years depending on the storage environment.When it needs to be stored for nearly 10 years under special circumstances,it can be kept by soaking in turbine oil(as bearing lubricant).

1 When lubricating with grease

Apply lubrication to cover all roller surfaces,and restore the position of the outer ring after coating.

2 when oil is lubricated

Apply oil to all roller surfaces and restore the position of the outer ring after coating.

(2)Precautions for removing the bearing

The disassembly of the bearing is carried out during regular maintenance or when the bearing needs to be replaced due to abnormal operation.When the bearings that need to be replaced regularly are overhauled,it is necessary to understand the reasons for the abnormality when disassembling the bearings,so as to prevent the abnormality from happening again.At least,the following items should be kept.

1 Collect and keep the used lubricant.

2 Keep the damaged bearing.

3 keep records of abnormal events in operation.

4.Keep records of bearing conditions when abnormal operation occurs.
