Adjustment method of radial clearance of NSK bearing
Commonly used methods for adjusting the radial clearance of NSK bearings are as follows:
1. The side clearance of cylindrical and elliptical bearing shells can be adjusted by hand grinding and scraping or by repairing and scraping after turning the bearing with split pads.
2. The top clearance of cylindrical and elliptical bearing shells can be adjusted by manual grinding or by adding pads to the bearing split surface when circumstances permit.
3. In principle, it is not allowed to scrape and adjust the clearance of the fixed bearing bush with multiple oil wedges. If the clearance is inappropriate, a new bearing bush should be replaced.
4. For tilting bearing shells with multiple oil wedges, it is not allowed to repair and scrape the tiles. If the gap is not appropriate, the tiles should be replaced. For the tile with adjustable thickness, the tile amount can be adjusted by adding a stainless steel pad under the adjusting block behind the tile or thinning the thickness of the adjusting block. Note that the thickness error between tiles in the same group should be less than 0.01mm for multi-wedge tilting bearing shells.
